Evaluation Yield and Utilization Pattern of Artemisia Sieberi and Annual Species During the Grazing season (Case study: Soh station)

The ingoing research was aimed to shed lights on growing behavior of Artemisia Sieberi and annuals in rangeland site Soh during ۳ years. The moderate-sized stands were used as representative to determine yield and utilization so that numbers of eight stands per months were specified to measure yield and residuals within enclosures and grazed site respectively. Through subtracting two above parameters, utilization was obtained. The same was repeated for all months of growing and grazing season. The results for ۳ years showed that the average rangeland sites production is ۲۵۵.۹ kg/ha and yield variations are function of precipitation amount. Artemisia sieberi along with annuls species account for mainly large part of this rangeland production by ۳۸.۲ and ۳۲.۹ percent, taken together ۷۱.۱% of total yield, respectively. Utilization rate varies indifferent years so that as a whole ۴۲.۸% of the forage is utilized during the months May to July, the highest monthly utilization ۳۸.۷% is related the May. Results of statistical analysis showed that different years and months affected studied species in significant way.
