The Role Lactobacillus in Reproduction

Lactobacilli spp. is known to be beneficial to avian gastrointestinal tracts and improve egg production when limited research is demonstrating the effects Lactobacilli may have on avian fertility. With concentrations of Lactobacillus in the cloaca, vagina and semen approaching those levels naturally, overall fertility, could be impacted if a probiotic supplement containing Lactobacillus is used in the diet formulation. The purpose of this research noteis the potential of vaginal probiotic lactobacilli in improving the fertilization potential of the female host in the presence of vaginal disorders and male and female fertility
