One of the main requirements in the gas turbines integrity assessments is the correct evaluation of theirs dynamic behaviors. The natural frequencies which give the critical speeds must be determined through the development of the Campbell diagram. The turbine designs and dynamic motion complexity has forced the use of more sophisticated tools such as the Finite element method. In this paper, rotordynamics analysis is performed for gas turbine set, the Siemens V۹۴.۲ gas turbine that coupled to Ansaldo generator. On the basis of the finite element method the whole part of gas turbine modeled with the real data and using MATLAB, a computer program is provided, to do the Rotordynamics analysis. Campbell diagram, natural frequencies and mode shapes are derived and compared with the experimental Siemens results.
