Landslides impart a significant impact and are a threat to the surrounding area. The famous LangarPura landslide was first triggered by the devastating ۲۰۰۵ earthquake and during the ۲۰۱۰ heavy monsoon rainfall season. Since then, it has been assumed to be stable; however, there is always a probability of such catastrophic events in seismically and rainforest areas. Hence, monitoring the escarpments and cracks on the crest of the slide is necessary to understand the likelihood and avoid disastrous events. The present study focuses on the post-۲۰۰۵ study of the slide. In the current research, temporal analyses provided the study’s basis for understanding the geomorphological changes. The complete monitoring of landslides is incomplete without field evidence; hence, geological mapping, cross-section development, discontinuity parameters, and sampling were completed in the first phase. In the second phase, the rock quality was determined with rock mass rating. The failures mode in rocks was determined with kinematic analyses. Lately, the results of limit equilibrium analyses have contributed to understanding the condition of slopes in flooded and seismic conditions. The study concluded that the area is at high risk, and this landslide may trigger in the future
