چکیده مقاله:
Was studied the relationship between the accumulation of pathogenesis-related proteins and the development of acquired resistance during treatment of potato by glyphosate and bacterial infection. Treatment of the leaves of potato by glyphosate leads to the induction of systemic protective response genes (PR genes) in comparison with untreated leaves. The induction of the PR-۲ genes and the expression of the HSR-۲۰۳J (hypersensitive response gene) proved to be the strongest: the relative number of copies of mRNA increased ۳۸۱ times for the PR-۲ gene and ۲۰۱ times for the HSR-۲۰۳J gene.On the untreated leaves of potato, the number of cells of phytopathogenic bacteria D. dadantii (Dd) ENA۴۹ and P. atrosepticum (Pa) ۲۱A increases by ۳۶.۷ and ۴۶.۲ times (initial quantity ۲x۱۰۷) on the second day after infection and remains at the same level and on the ۷th day. On the leaves of potato, treated by glyphosate, the number of bacteria on the second day increases only in ۲۴.۹ and ۱۷.۱ times, and on the ۷th day it decreases by ۱.۶ and ۱.۳ times (in comparison with ۲- day), respectively, which is accompanied by the absence of symptoms of bacterial damage. When infected the leaves of potato by the phytopathogenic bacteria D. dadantii (Dd) ENA۴۹ and P. atrosepticum (Pa) ۲۱A, a high level of expression of the protective response genes, especially the PR-۲ gene, is observed. But when these leaves of potato pre-treated by glyphosate are infected with bacteria, the expression levels of the protective response genes increase: for the PR-۲ gene by ۱.۵ and ۲.۹ times and for the HSR-۲۰۳J gene - by ۲.۵ and ۲.۴ times respectively, compared with those in untreated and infected leaves, which correlates with the resistance of the glyphosate-treated Potatoes to bacterial infections.
