Blockchain based transactions have led to aproliferation of peer-to-peer (P۲P) energy trading projects, whichallow the neighbors to exchange energy between each otherwithout any intervention of a conventional intermediary in thetransactions. Nevertheless, there is too little attention to thetechnical constraints of the network under the above mentionedissues such as voltage limitations and line congestion. Asignificant challenge to implement P۲P infrastructures is toconsidering network constraints, which must not be violatedduring the energy transactions. This paper introduces a P۲Ptransaction method based on users’ electrical distance andvoltage sensitivity analysis to make sure that P۲P energytransactions are economic and do not violate networkconstraints. Also, the security of P۲P trades is guaranteed byblockchain protocols. Finally, the market is cleared usingContinuous Double Auction (CDA) method. The proposedmethod is carried out on IEEE ۹-bus test system and simulationresults illustrate that our method ensures that energy exchangebetween peers is economic and does not violate the networkconstraints.
