Political participation is one of the main topics in social, political and political studies. Scholars believe that the more people are involved in governing the government, the more the power and authority of the government increases, and consequently the legitimacy and popular acceptance of the system increases. With this approach, this article focuses on examining the relationship between social capital and political participation (modern institutions). The main question that this article addresses is whether there is a relationship between social trust and institutional participation in political parties (participation in parties)? In order to find the answer to this question, the theory of social capital (Putnam, Coleman, and Dutuquille's views) has been tested. The data of this research have been prepared through a survey and analyzed statistically (inferential and descriptive). The findings of this article show that there is no significant relationship between trust in institutions and providing equal status for participation in these institutions. has it.
