چکیده مقاله:

Background and Aim : E. faecium was isolated from the intestinal tract of Sander luciopercacollected from fish farms in Guilan, northern part of Iran. Methods : Antagonistic activity of different doses of the probiotic was studied against A.hydrophila and the most effective dosage was selected for in vivo experiments. Fish were fed withprobiotic; E. faecium dosage including ۱۰۸, ۱۰۱۰cfu/g and without probiotic (control sets) for ۸weeks,Results : The results showed the weight gain (WG) and Specific growth rate (SGR) weresignificantly increased by dietary administration of E. faecium (۱۰۸, ۱۰۱۰cfu/g) supplementedafter ۸ weeks. The Feed conversion ratio (FCR) in E. faecium administered fish was significantlylower than the control. Rate of total bacteria and probiotics in intestinal tract, after ۶۰ days offeeding with probiotic in groups fed E.faecium a dosage of ۱۰۸, ۱۰۱۰cfu/g increased compared tocontrol as well as its survival rate after administration of ۱۰۱۰cfu/g E. faecium in which wassignificantly higher (P<۰.۰۵) than other groups (۸۶.۶%).Conclusion : Optimal dosage and dietary administration of ۱۰ ۱۰ cfu/g for E.faecium in showedsignificant effect on growth performance, immunity parameters and survival in Sander lucioperca.
