چکیده مقاله:

A dual mechanical port electric (DMP) machine is used as an electrical variable transmission (EVT) in hybrid electric vehicle (HEV). In the conventional HEV, this machine is replaced to planetary gear box and two electric machines and makes their structures simpler. In this paper improved vector control of DMP machine with optimum design of PI speed controller and implementation of MTPA method is proposed. The model of DMP machine considering the magnetic coupling between two air gaps has been developed in MATLAB/Simulink and improved controller is applied. The simulation results have been provided with a brief discussion at the end.
