چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: AIDS is a contagious and deadly infectious disease that infects millions of people around the world every year and even kills them. There is no definitive cure for the disease yet, but despite the use of control and prevention methods for the disease worldwide, the incidence of the disease has been growing in recent years, and this growth in Developing countries are seen more. On the other hand, following the COVID-۱۹ pandemic, challenges have been created for people living with HIV; therefore, the present study was conducted to investigate these challenges.Search Method: The present study was a summary review study designed in November ۲۰۲۱. To search for similar articles, valid scientific databases such as PubMed / Medline, Scopus and ISI (Web of Sciences) were used. Selected keywords according to the MeSH guidelines included "AIDS", "HIV", "COVID-۱۹" and "SARS-COV-۲", which were searched using the AND-OR operators. Initially, ۶۲ articles were retrieved, and after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, ۱۰ articles were extracted. Inclusion criteria included the availability of the full text of the article, Latinness of the article and exclusion criteria also included: abstracts of papers presented at congresses and conferences. Results: Low-CD۴ HIV patients become incapacitated against even the weakest organisms. In addition, anemia, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, and abnormal changes in serum electrolytes in these patients may exacerbate other diseases, COVID-۱۹ is one of these dangerous diseases. Recent studies have reported an increase in morbidity, hospitalization, and mortality among HIV-infected people, a possibility that has varied even among HIV-positive people depending on the stage of the disease and even geographical location, etc.; The HIV virus can increase the severity of COVID-۱۹ to such an extent that people need intensive care in the hospital, especially in people over ۴۰ years of age and those with a history of injecting drug use. According to the above, the probability of HIV-positive people being infected with COVID-۱۹ is about eighty percent higher than other people. Conclusion: People living with HIV are more likely to become infected and die from COVID-۱۹ than the general population. Governments and community-based organizations and international partners must make special efforts to ensure that HIV-infected people have timely access to health services and to prevent disruptions in the continued care of these patients; The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommendation is also critical for prioritizing HIVinfected people to receive the COVID-۱۹ vaccine and to maintain regular antiretroviral (ARV) care for these patients.
