Introduction: AIDS is a devastating infectious disease caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), although there is no definitive cure for this disease, but the administration of antiretroviral drugs and appropriate treatment regimens has dramatically reduced the morbidity and mortality of the disease. Nevertheless, the mortality rate due to HIV infection is constantly increasing. The present study was designed to assess and identify social and structural barriers and facilitators of treatment and care for black women living with HIV.Search Method: The present study was a summary review study designed in November ۲۰۲۱. To search for similar articles, valid scientific databases such as PubMed / Medline, Scopus and ISI (Web of Sciences) were used. Selected keywords according to the MeSH guidelines included "AIDS", "HIV", "Social factor" and "Stigma", which were searched using the ANDOR operators. Initially, ۷۱ articles were retrieved, and after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, ۱۱ articles were extracted. Inclusion criteria included the availability of the full text of the article, Latinness of the article and exclusion criteria also included: abstracts of papers presented at congresses and conferences.Results: According to surveys of black African American women, ۵۹% of women were infected with HIV at the end of ۲۰۱۴ and ۶۱% of women living with HIV in ۲۰۱۵. Researchshows that social factors and Structures of society including poverty, poor job opportunities, limited access to health care resources, lack of social and family support, HIV-related stigma, especially from health care providers, transportation challenges, poor quality services Depression, inattention, self-denial (internal stigma), racism, sexism, etc. are some of the challenges in treating and caring for black women living with HIV, of which HIV stigma is the most important.Conclusion: To reduce the stigma associated with HIV and racial discrimination and increase support for black women with the disease, racial awareness can be raised and more education can be provided to different groups in society, high levels of self-awareness. Self-efficacy, flexibility, resilience, mental health care, comprehensive and integrated health services, sustainable housing, financial stability, formation of supportive social groups, proper treatment of managers and employers, drug adherence as well as integration of spirituality with HIV care It can reduce the depression caused by this disease among black women with this disease.
