Investigation of Health, Safety and Environment Indicators in neighborhood houses covered by Tehran Municipality Organizations: Challenges, Weaknesses and Strengths and Corrective Strategies

Background and Objective: According to ILO, around one-third of work-related deaths is due to. Observing the principles and requirements of this system is of particular importance to all organizations and companies of the municipality of Tehran. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the status of HSE indices in in neighborhood houses covered by Tehran Municipality Organizations in the summer of ۲۰۱۸.Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional study, the population of the study consisted of all neighborhood houses that covered by Tehran municipality, whose health, safety and environmental performance during the summer of ۱۳۹۷ were investigated. In this study, ۱۳ items were used to examine the performance of HSE in neighborhood houses.Results: The results of this study showed that among the neighborhood houses of the municipality of Tehran province, three offices of Ghazali, Abuzar-۱۴ and Wardwand withhaving the HSE score of ۷۷.۲۴, ۷۷.۵۶ and ۷۳.۲۱% respectively had the best performance in terms of health, safety, and environment. The vast majority of neighborhood Houses had good HSE score (۴۴.۳%).Conclusion: The study identifies solutions such as improving the professional qualifications of managers, allocating specific budget for implementing HSE programs, Providing booklets and safety equipment for all neighborhood houses, institutionalizing the research process, analyzing and teaching the events, developing and implementing appropriate operational programs, and eventually evaluating the effectiveness of control measures to improve the health, safety and environmental index can be evaluated.
