چکیده مقاله:

Electrospinning is a versatile and straight forward process for synthesizing one- dimensional (1D) nanostructures of diverse materials. Conventional fiber synthesis techniques of wet, dry, melt, and gel spinning, are capable of producing polymer fibers with diameters down to the micrometer range while electrospinning, also known as electrostatic spinning, is capable of producing polymer fibers with nanoscale diameters. In this paper, we report a simple chemical method for the preparation of ZnO semiconducting nanofibers from zinc acetate/PVA by using electrospinning method. So the fibers thus obtained were calcined at 700°C K for 2 hours and ceramic ZnO fibers were obtained. The morphological features, crystallinity, and optical properties of the ZnO nanofibers were studied by SEM images, XRD pattern, UV-vis and PL and FT-IR Spectroscopy and used of the scherer equation for the approximation crystallite size. SEM images showed that the diameters of ceramic ZnO fibers calcined at 700°C are found 50–80 nm. XRD results showed that the obtained ZnO nanofibers were composed of hexagonal wurtzite phase with very good crystallinity. The crystallite size obtained as 32 nm using Scherer formula. The PL and UV absorbtion spectra showed a broad green band emission and a relatively narrow absorbtion band at 550 and 274 nm respectively
