چکیده مقاله:

Childhood is considered as a critical period of development. During this time, in addition to inheritance, the environment has also effect on the development of the child. The purpose of this study is investigating the effect of the selected training program on cognitive-motor and cognitive performance of preschool children with Considering the importance of moving on perceptual and cognitive development and creating a cognitive-perceptual cycle. This is a quasi-experimental study with pre-test and post-test. In order to conduct this research, ۳۰ children from Bardaskan city were selected in the academic year of ۹۷-۹۶ at the age of ۵ and ۶, who were available. At the first, the children were taken Raven colored test to measure IQ and IQ of ۹۰ to ۱۱۰ children who were selected and then divided into two groups in randomly: control (n = ۱۵) and experimental (n = ۱۵) groups. The children of the experimental group applied a training program based on fundamental skills as well as a cognitive program, and the control group paid for their daily activities. The duration of the program was ۶ weeks and ۳ sessions per week for ۵۰ to ۶۰ minutes. Initially, both groups were pre-test and finally the post-test was taken. For assessment of perceptual-motor skills, the Bruininks-Oseretsky test was used for cognitive development from the children s Wechsler test and preschoolers. The SPSS۱۶ software and the statistical analysis of covariance analysis were used to analyze the available data. The findings indicated that the exercise program is effective on balance, visual-motor control, speed, or agility, power and working memory (P≤۰/۰۰۵).According to the results, it can be concluded that this training program can be a suitable program for improving perceptual-motor skills and cognitive function of children that can be used in children s educational centers.
