چکیده مقاله:

The level of attention to women s sports and gender equality in sports has increased widely. These trends are highlighted by a number of relevant prominent organizations such as the IOC, UNESCO, UN Women and etc. In fact, different organizations can focus on the development of women s sports and the promotion of gender equality in sports by playing roles such as policy, political role, governance, discourses and practices that affect the development of women s sports. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explain the policies of women s sports at three levels: micro, meso and macro in the national and international arenas. This study is a review-analytical study. Using the library study method, valid researches from scientific-research sources were examined and analyzed.Research on policies, political and governance activities in female sports can be divided into two specialized areas: & quot;Women s Sports& quot;(Women s Sports Participation) and & quot;Women in Sports& quot;(managerial roles) in three Divided the micro, meso and macro levels. Macro-level issues are such as legislation and policy on gender equality, policy frameworks for women s sport, soft power and the role of social media in challenging the interpretation of gender norms, accessing sport through education, and building legitimacy for women s sport through media, political determinants of the evolution of competitive balance, the financial well-being framework of women athletes, the social gender-related division, sport diplomacy, and enhancing of formal relations. At the meso level include the policies of sports federations and the dominance of men in positions of power, gender inequality in leadership opportunities and participation, the role of governing bodies in sport. Finally, the individual level reflects the beliefs and attitudes of individuals towards policy and law enforcement, the financial well-being of female athletes, cultural influence, and the diplomatic role of sports celebrity female as informal ambassadors.Despite the beneficial developments in women s sports in recent decades, the study of policies in women s sports development reveals the male-dominated orientation and approach to sports policies at the local and international levels. Undoubtedly, such an approach will lead to effective processes in reforming and formulating policies for the development of women s sports.
