A combination of Art, Creativity and Neuroscience

The concept of creativity has many aspect. Whether it is a simple act of innovation or a grand work of genius, creativity and innovation shape the way we live, think, and believe. With case studies of artists with neurological diseases and their experiences with their disease, we review the construct of creativity, describe the neural mechanisms underlying these effects, and explain the influences of art on creativity. In psychology and neuroscience, creativity is a topic of great interest, but the findings of studies are not always consistent. A difficult domain to study may partly explain inconsistent findings when it comes to creativity. Nevertheless, creativity is a vital element of human culture, hard to define and even harder to capture.
