چکیده مقاله:

A direct current (DC) motor is supposed to be operated at an accurate and constant speed even if the loadon the system is increased or decreased. This paper had controlled the DC motor’s speed based on thefuzzy logic methods and simulated the fuzzy rules in Matlab/Simulink environment. Fuzzy LogicControllers were proposed to achieve the speed control of a DC motor using combined armature voltageand field current by varying the armature voltage in the constant torque region and the field current in theconstant power region. The fuzzy logic controllers were designed to be dependent on one another in sucha way that the same set of rules were fired at the same time for the two controllers, having the sameantecedences but different consequences. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposedmethod
