چکیده مقاله:

Among the various pollutants of water, nitrate and phosphate are very important due to their great dangers to the aquatic ecosystem and living organisms. Increasing the concentration of these anions in water causes overgrowth of plants and the phenomenon of algal blooms. The solution is in an aqueous medium using an electric current during which the particles overcome the van der Waals force by reducing the surface charge and produce clots. In this research, aluminum and iron were used as electrodes, which by passing a direct current through the anode electrode, The electrode is corroded and the coagulation cations are introduced into the solution to perform purification reactions, and the effect of changes in pH and electric current intensity was investigated. As the electric current increases, the time required to achieve the same removal efficiencies decreases, and as the electric current decreases, the time required increases. This is because as the current increases, the amount of ions released from the electrodes increases. More sediment is formed to remove contaminants. Also in this study, pH was investigated in three levels equal to ۳, in neutral and ۹ to determine the optimal removal conditions (acidic, neutral and alkaline). The results showed that nitrate in alkaline conditions averaged ۲۷%. It is mostly removed from neutral and acidic conditions, but in the case of phosphate at neutral pH, the removal rate was higher. Environmental pollution of water sources and their protection should be considered. Significant amounts of phosphate and nitrate were separated using both electrodes. Aluminum electrode Better performance in phosphate removal and iron electrode Ray showed nitrate removal, but estimated operating costs for the treatment of phosphate and nitrate leachates using iron electrodes provide better results in terms of achieving environmental standards [۱].
