چکیده مقاله:

Chronic non-specific low back pain has more adverse effects on the social and individual life of patients. Moreover, altered neuromuscular control and decreased usage of abdominal and back muscles result in spine instability. Recently, vibration therapy with a body blade has been proposed as an alternative method for LBP rehabilitation. Body blade is a vibratory tool that automatically activates local and global core muscles. This study aimed to compare the efficacy of body blade and stability exercises in LBP rehabilitation. ۳۸ patients with CNSLBP were randomly assigned into body blade and stability groups. Both groups received ۱۰ sessions of general physiotherapy treatment besides body blade and stabilization exercises. Postural sway was assessed with a force platform, dynamic posture with the modified-SEBT before and after the intervention. After the intervention, both groups showed a significant improvement in all variables however, the body blade group showed significant improvement in postural sway of open eye condition over the stability group. Body blade is recommended as an effective tool in LBP rehabilitation.
