چکیده مقاله:

At present, the safe distance from Iranian gas transmission pipelines is determined by standardtables IGS-C-SF-۰۱۵, In this paper, a comparison between the numerical values obtained from the realexplosion radius with the least obstacles/surrounding structures and the results of calculating thepotential hazard radius in a high natural gas pressure pipeline that calculated using PHAST softwarehas taken place. It should be noted that the PHAST software cannot calculate the effects of soil on theexplosion for burial pipes Therefore, the non-burial of the incident pipe as considered an advantage forperform calculations and with the help of this software، The results of software modeling show theconsequences of a real explosion significantly. this opportunity is obtained to use the simulation as abasis for calculating the impact of equipment such as automatic valve and other effective parameters toreduce the range of damage quantitatively. Finally, the effect of the performance of the valves equippedwith the automatic system (LBV) on the reduction of the consequences of the incident is calculated andcompared by the diagrams. For the simulated mode, it is observed that the correct operation of the LBVsystem could reduce the accident consequences by more than ۶۰%.
