The consideration of problems of English language teaching in Iran

Language is a tool used to communicate with each other in a way that makes it easier forus to convey ideas, feelings and many other things. Today, English is used in manysubjects such as education, medicine, business, politics and technology. Thus, theimportance of English teaching in today's world cannot be ignored. In this research, anattempt has been made to investigate the problems of ELT in Iranian schools. Englishlanguage in Iranian schools starts from middle school and continues until the end of highschool and pre-university. Basically, there are ۲ sessions per week and each session is oneand a half hours. In this article we have considered some running methods, their benefitsand problems. Then, we offered some practical methods which can be used in modernworld.
