Identifying the factors affecting the development of rural tourism in Iran (Case study: Guilan province)

The purpose of this study is to identify the factors affecting the development of rural tourism in Iran (Casestudy: Guilan province). The present research is a descriptive-survey type and information is collected by fieldmethod. The questionnaire used in this research has been made by a researcher whose face and content validityhas been confirmed by knowledgeable professors. The reliability of the questionnaire was reported withCronbach's alpha coefficient of ۰.۸۲. The statistical population of this research is officials and experts on thesubject of rural tourism. Data were analyzed using t-test and F-test. The results showed that economic factors,structural factors, and cultural factors affect the development of tourism in Iran (Case study: Guilan province).
