Application of Wireless Sensor Networks in Field of Healthcare and Medicine: A Review

In a sensor network, sensors can monitor data and also send the data to a central location. Then data can be analyzed, captured, visualize, or used for learning. In a wireless sensor network, communication is much more economical than the wired network due to the small size of the nodes, very low power consumption, ease of moving nodes. Using these types of networks in the fields of healthcare and medicine, industry, and agriculture is still a challenging problem. The aim of this paper is to study the proposed methods in the field of healthcare and medicine in order to improve the control of diagnosis and treatment of patients remotely by the treating physician and medical centers
