چکیده مقاله:

In this article, we discuss the encyclopedic aspect of the neurological impairments discovered in some arbovirus infections, which can cause enduring consequences, and connect these observations with molecular and cellular researches pointing to explain the effects of CNS arbovirus interaction.Material and Methods:Arboviruses are mostly RNA and are transmitted through arthropods to wild and non-wild hosts and reach humans through bloody meals. Some arboviruses can reach the CNS and cause nerve damage, affecting memory, ... even months after the initial infection. Results:Although the CNS is protected from pathogens by the BBB, many arboviruses can access the CNS and cause meningitis, encephalitis, and ... with sometimes long-term cognitive impacts. Additionally, Alphaviruses have been related with neuronal impedance with long-term effects. Conclusion:The ability of some arboviruses to produce productive infection in brain cells, escape antiviral reactions, and neural homeostasis depends on their unique ability to develop complex and multifaceted methods of interacting with diverse host cells.
