چکیده مقاله:
Teachers and policy-makers should adapt to sudden change from face-to-face to online teaching due to the COVID-۱۹ pandemic (Carrillo & Flores, ۲۰۲۰). Inparticular, appropriate education is essential for language teachers to help them meet the requirements of effective online teaching (Flores & Gago ۲۰۲۰). This study thus aimed to investigate EFL teachers’ perceptions of technical coaching, the positive and negative points they faced while experiencing peer technical coaching. To this end, three open-ended questions were developed by the researchers and administered to ۳۳ MA students of TEFL at Iran University of Science and Technology. The results revealed that most of the participants expressed positive views about technical coaching. The findings also indicated that pre-service teachers learnt to share files, use whiteboard and poll pod, and activate webcam in Adobe Connect. With regardto challenges, most of them held the view that no negative points were experienced except for lack of adequate knowledge and technological glitches
