Evaluation of Sustainable Architecture Criteria in Reconstruction to promote the contextualism of the historical context (Case study: Museum of Performing Arts, Lalehzar St., Tehran)

The name of Lalehzar Street has been reminiscent of the name of performing arts, culture, history, and even its buildings for many years, and unfortunately, due to the formation of other businesses in this street, history, and culture, which was the cradle of many performing arts in Lalehzar, Has been forgotten; Now it is time for architecture to revive this art, and for this reason, it has been decided to design a museum to commemorate and revive this art. In the present study, using theoretical studies and library research, the history of Lalehzar Street, the history of it, architecture in the historical context, context-oriented architecture, mezzanine architecture, and case studies related to this project, etc. have been studied. Finally, by using the principles of contextual architecture in line with the new needs, it led to the creation of a homogenous space with a street texture, which has breathed a whole new spirit, but with a previous nature, and a step has been taken to revive this texture and show its importance. Finally, in line with the studied parameters, desirable alternatives are presented.
