چکیده مقاله:
Among the new technologies that have a special place in construction are concrete admixtures and reinforcing fibers in the form of fiber concrete. The use of concreteadditives improves the desired properties of concrete, such as its strength, and in some cases, by reducing the weight of concrete, puts very light materials in the way of building engineers. Fibers can effectively improve the strength, shrinkage and durability of concrete. In this study, after reviewing and studying previous research, due to the need for innovation in research, the effect of adding steel and polymer fibers on the tensile and compressive strength of concrete has been studied and compared separately. Based on the laboratory studies conducted in this study, it can be stated that by adding up to ۵% of steel fibers to concrete, an excellent compressive strength will be achieved compared to other mixing designs at different ages. Also, by adding ۱۰% of steel fibers to concrete, we will reach high tensile strength at different ages.
