چکیده مقاله:

A lot of energy is consumed in office rooms in buildings for artificial lighting, however there are enough sun radiation outside the office building especially in Mes-Sarcheshmeh Region, Kerman, Iran. Daylight utilization is a important strategies for declining energy consumption. Furthermore natural daylight is more preferable respect to the artificial lighting in working area. Proportion of office room and window area to the gross wall area are two important parameters can effect on potential of space to absorb daylight. The purpose of this research is to find out the effectiveness of proportion and WWR on Daylight Factor(DF) in office room in Mes-Sarcheshmeh city of Kerman, Iran. This research was conducted through modeling and simulation of different office rooms with different proportions and WWR in Design Builder Simulation program to find out optimum model through. Finding of this research reveals that office room with different proportion and ۴ Meters height with WWR between ۵۰% to ۶۰% can achieve sufficient potential for daylight utilization. The result of this research can be used for helping designers to create more visual comfort in spaces within office buildings.
