چکیده مقاله:

TiO۲ NanoTubes (TNTs) have been appealed a lot of attention d uring the la st decade among researchers. Among previous studies, there have be en a plenty of reports regarding TNTs mecha nism of formation and their physicochemical properties b efore and after annealing [۱]. It has been tried to explain, to some extent, the ele ctrochemic al and phot o-electrochemical behavior of annealed TNTs. Regardless of some noticeable achievements, still there are several contradictions and am biguity ab out the mechanism of p hotocurrent and capaci tance formation in TNT s. Our previous reports on the physicochemica l behavior of titanium oxide nanot ubes [۲] hav e explained the origin of some el ectrochemical and phot o-electrochemical prope rties of TN Ts before a nd after ann ealing. Also, the effect of anodiclly and thermally formed oxide lay ers below n anotubes on physicochemical response of the whole syste m has been evaluated [۳]. In the present work, it has been tried to study, in more detail, the physic ochemical behavior o f annealed TiO۲ nanotubes. Finally, qualitative models were presen ted for better describing the mech anism of photoresponse and capacitance of ann ealed TNTs.
