چکیده مقاله:

Nanotechnology is currently applied in a wide variety of fields, including environmenta l and waste water treatment. There a re very few comparative studies, in the literature among v arious sorben ts. In this w ork, we rep ort a compa rison betwe en, Ac with MWCNTs and C۱۸-Silica as sorben ts for removal organic pollutant from environmental waters. Nan ozerovalent iron (NZVI) technolog y represent of the first generation s of nanoscale enviro nmental cle an up techno logy. Beca use of its ti ny size, its large specific surface an d its high s urface reac tivity. NZVI can enhanc e the kinetic rate of d estruction o f many pollutants. Most research o n the degra dation of dy es by NZV I has been conducted in bach exp eriments. W e quantified the colorization effec tiveness of indigo Carmine and dye wast ewater by NZVI. We also determ ined the effect of the sorbents such as Ac and C۱۸ –S ilica and MWCNTs on the destruction of dyes by NZV I particle were mixed with adsorbent as a reactive dye was investigated [۱-۶] .
