Because of eco-friendly pr operty of c arrageenan with –SO۳ - groups, we attempted to synthe size nanoc omposite superabsorben ts by introducing of this biopoly mer. The c urrent work describes the synthesis of crosslinked poly (sodium acrylate-co-acrylamide) in the presen ce of carrageenan bi opolymer and sodium montmoril lonite nanoclay. Adso rption proces s, an inexpe nsive and simple desig n, can be us ed to remove of dye contaminations from aquatic environmentsIn this work, we attempt to use carrageenan-based n anocomposite to remove cationic crystal violet.
