The synthesis of mesoporous materials has recentl y generated great interest due to their importance for a wide range of applications such as the adsorp tion/immobilization of large molecules, as ca talytic supports. Much attention has been paid to the fabricatio n of mesop orousinorga nic materials.On the other hand, only a few w orks have been focussed on the synthesis of m esoporous materials with an organic framework [۱].The Heck reaction has received growing interest for carbon–carbon bond formation and widesprea d applicatio ns in the organic synthe sis of vario us alkenes. Palladium sp ecies have largely been used as catalysts for C –C bond fo rming reactions in allylic substitut ions and He ck couplin g of aryl halides. Hence, polymer anchored m etal catalysts, which are used extensively as heterogeneous catalysts, and major advantag es of using tailor-made polymer supported catalysts are their ease of separation ability to recycle and site specificity in v arious orga nic reaction s [۲].
