چکیده مقاله:

Paulo wnia is an extremely f ast-growing deciduous tree species with vegetative propag ation and tolerance to d ifferent soi l and climate condition s and is orig inal of Chi na and its natural distribution range s from tropi cal through to cool temperate climates [۱].Oriented strand board (OSB) is a recons tituted flat pressed wood based panel composed of oriented wood str ands bonded by hot-pressing by usin g thermosetting adhesiv e resins [۲]. Using organo-mo dified mont morillonite ( MMT) (co mmonly called ‘‘Nanoclay’’) to rein force polymer-based composites have raised great attention to academic and industrial sectors since the a ddition of small amou nt of nano clay could substantially enhance the mech anical prope rties of pristine polymers [۳]. The in itial objective of this study was to investigate the influenc e of nanoclay and press cycle time o n the mechanical, phy sical and formaldehyde emission of the resulting panels and to determ ine if such fiber reso urce employ ing nanocl ay could be used to produce OSB with acceptable proper ties.
