Lead is one of the most dangerous heavy metals for humans and living organisms.all the compounds contain ing lead are considered as cumulative poisons. Lead poisonin g in human couses seve re damage t o the kidney , nervous system , reproductive sys tem , liver and brain. Therefore , the removal of e xessPb ions from wast e water is es sential to protect human a nd environm ental health . sawdust is prodused in large qua ntities at sawmills as a solid waste.interest in the use of sawd ust as an adsorbent ha s been stim ulated by the good reslts that have been obtained.
