Acid hydrolysis of ion-complex Azidopentaamine Cobalt (III) in differe nt concentratio ns of Sulf uric acid

Acid catalytic reactions are possible in Lig and-exchanges which are extremely basic and can make hydrogenated band like F- , NO۲- , ONO- , N۳- , CN- , CO۳۲ -,… Also labile chelates and complex es like [Fe (bipy)۲]۲+, [Nien۳]۲+, [ Fe(EDTA)]- ,… [۱], [۲] T he rate of acid hydr olysis [Co(NH۳)۵N۳]۲+ ion complex was studied as an acid concentration function by dif ferent concentr ations of sulfuric acid through Bunnett, Bu nnett & O lsen, and Zucker-Ha mmett hypothesis to compr ehend wheth er this mechanism dep ends on water. Kinetical analysis is done by UV- Visible spe ctrophotome tric metho d. This pap er aims to provide analysis for acid hydrolysis of ion com plex [Co(N H۳)۵N۳]۲+ in different c oncentrations of sulfuric acid.Materials and Meth ods: First of a ll, [Co(NH۳ )۵N۳]Cl۲ wa s prepared [۳] and washed by salty water solution (۱۰ gr Salt & ۸۰۰ mL water). Seco ndly, sever al concentrations of sulfuric acid prepared (۲.۰- ۸.۰ M) in ۵۰ mL volumetric balloons. ۰.۰۰۱ mol [Co(NH۳)۵N ۳]Cl۲ complex were ins erted in a ۱۰ mL volu metric balloon and were filled up by ۲.۰ M sulf uric acid. This mixture was posed in UV-Visible spectrop hotometer b y using ۳۷۰ nm-۱ wave lengths, in order to rec eive the rea ction progress for several times. The same process was repeated by ۳.۰-۸.۰ M concentrations of su lfuric acid.
