چکیده مقاله:
The h aloalkanes (also known as Halogenoalkanes) are a group of chem ical compounds, consisting of alkanes, such as methane or ethane, with one or m ore halogen s linked, such as chlorine or fluorin e, making them a type of organic halide. The i mportant types of haloalkanes are C FCs. CFCs are chlorofluorocarbon s which are the compounds containing carbon with chlorine and fluorine atoms attached. The y were used as refrigerants, propellants for aerosols, for ge nerating foamed plastics like ex panded pol ystyrene or polyuretha ne foam, a nd as solven ts for dry cleaning and for general degreasing purposes. Unfortunately, CFCs are la rgely respon sible for destroying the ozone layer. In the high atmosphere, the carbo n chlorine bonds break to give chlorine free r adicals. It is these radicals which destroy ozone.Studying the chemistry of halo alkanes can be useful for underst anding the reaction which take pla ce in atmosphere [۱,۲]. The importance of hal oalkanes are so high t hat very researchers wo rk to under estand their chemistry [۳,۴,۵]. In this researc h the kinetic of nucleop hilic substitution reacti on in which the F- attack s to CH۳Cl and CH۳Br and therefore takes out the Cl- and Br- to make new haloalk anes was studied. The effect of CH ۳ substitution on the kinetics of re action then i s investigated by replacing one of the hydrogen atoms with CH۳ groups.
