A Theo retical Appruach to the Gibberellic Acid (GA) Effect on Monoterpene Distribution in Rubus Caesius

Growth and development of many plants regulated by the activity of plant hormones [۱, ۲]. Experimental stud ies showed that treatm ent of Rubus caesius by Gibberllic acid (GA, ۱) had signifi cant effect on monoter pene composition; so that, in the pr esence of G A, concentration of cin eole (۶) decreased (۰.۳۴% to trace), instead the concentration of terpinolene (۳) increased (۳.۵۳ to ۵.۰۲%). In terms of biosynthesis of monoterpe nes, they de rive from te rpinyl cation ۲ (Scheme ۱). GA could interact with ۲ a nd lead to perturbation of the product comp osition. In this study we try to report the effect of GA o n monoterpe ne compotion in Rubus caesius theoretically.
