چکیده مقاله:

در این مقاله سعی می شود نوع مقوله تهی در کنترل اجباری (obligatory control) به درون متمم التزامی در زبان فارسی تشخیص داده شود. در این زمینه سه فرضیه اصلی مطرح می شود. بر اساس فرضیه اول متمم التزامی در ساخت کنترلی به علت ناقص بودن زمان ، ناخودایستا (nonfinite) و مقوله تهی از نوع ضمیر مستتر (PRO) است. طبق فرضیه دوم متمم التزامی خودایستا (finite) است و مقوله تهی در کنترل اجباری در متمم التزامی ، از نوع ضمیر ناملفوظ (pro) است و در فرضیه سوم علیرغم خودایستا بودن متمم التزامی، مقوله تهی همچنان ضمیر مستتر فرض می شود. در این مقاله با ارائه دلایلی مبنی بر خودایستا بودن متمم التزامی فرضیه اول رد می شود وسپس نشان داده می شود که برخلاف فرضیه دوم مقوله تهی در کنترل اجباری در زبان فارسی، رفتاری متفاوت با ضمیر ناملفوظ دارد. بنابراین از آنجا که مقوله تهی همانند ضمیر مستتر دارای کنترل کننده موضعی (local) و دارای خوانش باز (sloppy) و تعبیر به خود (De-se) است فرضیه سوم تایید می شود.
