Aesthetics is a purely sensory phenomenon that only human beings as the supreme creatures and have the power of intellect can understand. This is something that is added to a building or any other structure to enhance its value and aesthetic appearance. It can even be a pattern used for beauty for surfaces. The Forbidden City in Beijing is known as the palace of the emperor in the feudal era, as well as an important historical monument in Chinese historical studies, once the residence of the powerful Chinese emperors, which is still the largest palace ever built. In the Forbidden City, architecture was meaningful in detail. In addition to beauty, these details also had certain meanings, which were not without purpose. In the present study, we discuss the architectural aesthetics of the Forbidden City. In this article, the research is descriptive-analytical and considering that in different parts of the author's translation, authoritative English, Chinese and Persian books and articles have been used and remarkable articles of related journals have been used. The architecture of the Forbidden City hides a spiritual secret that can only be understood at a glance. However, the obvious and hidden details of the architecture of the city are spiritually forbidden and the principles of yin yang and feng shui. On the other hand, it has a special appearance that shows the greatness and power of the forbidden city of Chinese architecture.
