Study of Knowledge Management Status in Municipalities of the Country (Case Study: Karaj Municipality)

We live in a world that because of globalization is changing fast and inevitably.New organizations paid more attention to understanding, adapting andmanaging environmental changes around and are trying to learn and use theknowledge and updated information in order to improve the operation andproviding clients services and more desirable products. Such organizationsneed to use a new management style called knowledge management. Thisarticle reviews knowledge management and then it assesses the success ofknowledge management in municipalities (Karaj municipality) as a serviceprovider and identifies the status of the organization in each aspect of successrate and in the end, it provides some solutions to improve this status.
