Investigating the relationship between gum disease and increased risk of death due to covid-۱۹

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between gum disease and increased risk of death due to covid-۱۹. The present study is an applied research and in terms of method is also correlation. The statistical population of this research is the dental clinic of Gandhi Hospital Hotel in Tehran. The size of the population of ۱۵ managers and dentists of this center and the sample size is the same and the sampling method is the same. In this study, the required data were collected using a standard ۲۰-item questionnaire. In this study, the validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by experts and in order to determine the reliability, Cronbach's alpha method was used, the validity and reliability of which were ./۷۸, respectively. And ./۸۱ Was obtained. Then k-s test and Pearson correlation test with SPSS software were used. The results showed that there was only a significant relationship between periodontitis and increased risk of death due to covid-۱۹.
