Casting analysis

Casting is one of the oldest known methods for obtaining the desired shape of metal. The first casting furnaces were made of clay, with layers of copper and wood alternating between them. Casting may be defined as "making a metal object by allowing its melt to solidify in a mold." The shape of the object is determined by the shape of the mold cavity. The science of melting metals or casting is the process of forming a metal object by melting the metal and pouring it into a mold.Today, different methods are needed to produce parts in order to meet the needs of today's society. Therefore, casting as a method can be used for some products that by identifying materials and their properties can open a new window of this science. This method has been used from the past to the present. Today, the foundry industry is very advanced and many useful parts are made from this method. For this reason, in this study, we analyzed the casting.
