چکیده مقاله:
Echinococcus, which includes different species such as Echinococcus granulosus and Echinococcus multilocularis, is a consequential helminth zoonotic disease. This parasiteaffects livestock, humans, and wildlife. The parasite needs an intermediate host in its life cycle. After years of research into the control and prevention of the disease, Echinococcus granulosus is still significantly prevalent in Central Asia and western China, and Echinococcus multicoloris in the Northern Hemisphere. Climate change, followed by changes in temperature and humidity, affect egg survival in the external environment and intermediate hosts and ultimately on Echinococcus transmission. Also, changes in the human environment, urbanization, deforestation, and land use in rural areas are among the environmental changes affecting the transmission of this parasite. One of the most important ways to control and prevent this disease is to use a long-term program to identify and diagnose the parasite, and timely isolation of infected animals, and timely treatment, and to promote health education related to the prevention of this disease. The most common methods of diagnosing this disease are ultrasound and medical imaging, and sometimes serological methods are used for diagnosis. New solutions other than antiparasitics have been studied and used. These methods include surgery (the oldest), chemotherapy, and Percutaneous treatments. In this review article, studies and researches of different researchers in the field of new methods of control and prevention of hydatidosis and the invention of new drugs and new therapeutic techniques, have been studied.
