The scope of this report is to review the available data from the Northridge Earthquake for better understanding of behavior of the steel structures. Northridge Earthquake uncovered potential problems in the performance of steel structures. The primary focus of this report is on steel moment resisting frame buildings and unanticipated damages incurred during the Northridge Earthquake to this specific type of structural system
