چکیده مقاله:

Introduction and goal; A look at different jobs and production processes shows that one of the most important and common occupational health problems in the workplace is unfavorable weather conditions, in other words, working in hot environments. If the temperature range of the work environment is so high that it disturbs the thermal balance of human beings, heat pressure (heat stress) is applied to the employees and they respond to the heat pressure, physiological responses such as increase in body temperature, increase in heart rate, etc. Show. This is called the thermal stress reaction. The purpose of this review article is to review the health aspects and effects of occupational exposure to heat in the workplace and to provide methods to prevent and control heat stress.Materials and methods; In this review study, Iran Medex, Scopus, Pubmed, Web of Science, Google Scholar, Magiran and SID databases were used.findings; Heat stress along with other factors such as fatigue, dehydration, etc. can lead to heat disorders, heat diseases and even death. For this reason, evaluating the possible heat pressure on employees and being aware of the disorders caused by it, as well as preventive and control measures in this regard, are essential for occupational health.Conclusion; Examination of the results of studies showed that the situation of thermal stress in work environments is worrying. Therefore, it is necessary to take the necessary preventive and control measures to reduce the amount of heat stress and the resulting strain with the measures taken by managers and the best participation of employees to eliminate or reduce its deadly effects and effects.
