چکیده مقاله:

Detection of Dopamine, the most crucial neurotransmitter in neuronal centres, is a big challenge as it requires sophisticated tools and precise sample preparation. The typical value of DA in healthy people is in the range of ۱.۳-۲.۶ μ mol. Any deviation from this range in the blood leads to high blood pressure and heart failure, schizophrenia, Parkinson's and neuromuscular disorders. Therefore, rapid detection of DA is crucial. There have been plenty of detecting Dopamine methods, such as electrochemistry, crystalline chemistry, spectrophotometry, and high-performance liquid chromatography. Despite their excellent sensitivity, many current diagnostic techniques, such as capillary electrophoresis, liquid chromatography, and mass spectrometry require sophisticated equipment and precise sample preparation. Therefore, a practical method for detecting neurotransmitters is a big challenge. In thisstudy, a new low-cost, and fast method for detecting Dopamine was introduced, utilizing the properties of gold nanoparticles deposited on diamond-like carbon (DLC) layers. The gold nanoparticles are deposited on the Diamond-like carbon layer using RF-PECVD and RF-sputtering co-deposition method. This structure exhibits strongly Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance (LSPR). The Peak of absorption spectrum of LSPR is strongly sensitive to the refractive index of their surroundings, which was used to detect various concentrations of Dopamine, as they have different refractive indexes. The results show that gold nanoparticles at a high carbon level can be an excellent candidate for simple, low-cost, convenient, multi times using, and sensitive detection ofDopamine and can be highly useful for the early diagnosis of various neurological diseases
