چکیده مقاله:

Rapid growth in consumer demand for poultry and livestock products in the world is being. Also, food safety is an area of public health action to protect consumers from the risks of food poisoning and foodborne diseases, acute or chronic. The poultry and livestock sector has undergone major structural changes during the past two decades. Candidate biomarkers currently are being investigated by many research groups. Currently, the role of TLR receptors as potential biomarker molecules for the development of diseases is emphasized more. TLRs play critical roles in activating the immune system, especially in innate immunity. TLRs receptors undoubtedly are expressed also on the chicken tissue, and thus, quantification of these receptors could be useful for evaluation of poultry health. Then, the aim of this review is the role of toll-like receptor in poultry physiology as a potential biomarker.
