چکیده مقاله:

Forward osmosis (FO) is an osmotic process that has been widely studied by scientists. In recent decades, the progress in membrane process has led to their utilization in various fields, particularly in thedesalination of seawater and brackish water. In the present study, the effects of temperature on FO waterpermeation using NaHCO۳ as draw solution was evaluated at identical osmotic pressure. As thetemperature increases from ۲۵ °C to ۴۵°C, generally, the water flux enhances. However, the temperaturerise would also increase the reverse diffusion of draw solution.
