چکیده مقاله:

Natural Gas is one of the most fundamental resources of energy in the world, use of energy is growing up constantly so that based on the current forecasts, the consumption of natural gas to the end of year 2030, will be 207 TCF . Generally, there are two methods for gas transferring: 1- PNG (Pipeline Transmission), 2 - NGL, CNG and GTL (Gas volume reduction method). Due to flaws of the mentioned methods, including connection fees and maintenance of pipelines, high pressure and very low temperature in the decreased volume of Gas process, NGH (Gas to hydrate) as a new source of gas storage and transmission has been considered. In this context the main aim of researches are finding optimal condition of hydrate formation and increasing capacity of hydrate produced. Unfortunately, little experimental data are available on the gas hydrate formation conditions for a complex Gas mixture. In this study, by using a laboratoryapparatus, can work at the high pressures up to 3000 psi with mixing speed control, hydrate formation condition of Gas mixture at high pressures have studied and hydrate capacity of this mixture (C1 to C3) has been growth up by adding a sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) as a promoter whereas induction time decreased. Also this experiment can compare the effect of parameters like pressure, temperature, additive and mixing speed on the hydrate process and these effects can be used for a future studies like hydrate formation in an industrial scale as an alternativemethod to Gas transport and storage.
