Pregnancy and Covid-۱۹: a brief review Pregnancy and Covid-۱۹

Covid-۱۹, the viral acute respiratory syndrome derived from a novel coronavirus called “SARS-CoV۲”, had been rapidly spread in china then throughout the world to be considered as the current huge concern, and also thread for public health, as World Health Organization (WHO) announced the outbreak as a pandemic. According to the global coronavirus outbreak, pregnant women are immunologically and physiologically considered as one of the potential vulnerable populations against the virus. In the present study, academic research papers on the effects of covid-۱۹ on pregnancy and pregnant women, form global valid information databases including Google Scholar, PubMed, Science Direct, Embase, and Scopus were reviewed. It could be finally concluded that health cares and protocols must be followed for pregnant women, as same as others, during global coronavirus prevalence. It is also vital that preventive actions and monitoring systems should be set for covid۱۹-exposed pregnant women, as well as non-exposed.
